Determination of Potassium in Sweet Potato Products (Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry)

1 Method Summary

After sample digestion, the test solution is atomized in air flame, and absorbance is measured at the wavelength of 766.5 nm. Within a certain concentration range, absorbance is proportional to potassium content, and quantification is completed by comparison with standard calibration series.

2 Scope of Application

This method is applicable to the determination of potassium in sweet potato products.
