1 Method Summary
After microwave digestion, the sample solution is injected into the graphite furnace of atomic absorption spectrophotometer and thermally atomized. The analyte absorbs resonant spectral line at 283.3 nm. Within a certain concentration range, absorbance is proportional to lead content, and quantification is performed against standard calibration series.
2 Scope of Application
This method is used for the determination of lead in olive oil.
