1 Method Overview
The sample is digested with hydrochloric acid, hydrogen peroxide and nitric acid solution. In dilute hydrochloric acid medium, the absorbance of nickel is measured by air‑acetylene flame at the wavelength of 232.0 nm using an atomic absorption spectrometer.
2 Scope of Application
This method is applicable for the determination of nickel in zinc alloys.
