1 Aperçu de la méthode
The test portion is heated and dissolved in a quartz beaker with mixed sulfuric‑phosphoric acid. After dilution with water, the absorbance of potassium is measured at a wavelength of 766.5 nm on an atomic absorption spectrophotometer using an air‑acetylene flame. Within a certain concentration range, the absorbance of potassium is proportional to its content, and quantification is performed by comparison with the standard series.

2. Champ d'application
This method is applicable to the determination of potassium oxide content in alumina powder.
